Samarkand Tourism and Culture promoted in Stockholm
A major event on the theme “Samarkand – the Jewel of the Great Silk Road” was held in Stockholm. During the event, which included various presentations, not only the beautiful and youthful Samarkand, but also the rich cultural and historical heritage, tourism and gastronomic potential of all of Uzbekistan were widely demonstrated through concerts by artists and performances of national dances, as well as exhibitions of ethnocultural, handicrafts, embroidery and gastronomy.
